It’s just this feeling that there are people, an abundance of people, who are in this together. Who are on your team. When the check is paid and you stay at the table. When it’s four a.m. and no one goes to bed. That night with the guitar. That night we can’t remember. “That time we did, we went, we saw, we laughed, we felt.” – Marina Keegan
This is how I would describe my time at Nirma University. A feeling of togetherness, a safe haven. Whenever I go out of campus, and come back, the familiar gate, the grove of trees near the entrance welcome me, make me feel right at home, the significant drop in temperature, the pollution free air.
For me, ITNU has been lots of things. The institute provides an excellent platform and ample exposure for students to explore themselves, aspire bigger and challenge their limits. It had also provided me a platform for many extra curricular activities where I have build my personality through leading many of the Departmental clubs and its activities from the front. The unique Chemical Engineering curriculum, highly qualified, with 100% PhD Holdings and friendly faculties, blend of technical and humanity courses together make atmosphere conducive to student’s overall growth. The small sized, very active and diverse student community leads to interactions with huge variety of people and those interactions today form a major part of my learning.
To any new student coming to Nirma University, I would say this- Make the most of your time here, try everything that you ever wanted to, throw yourself at everything that comes your way because the memories you make here, are going to last you a lifetime.
