The Department is incredibly proud to announce that Dr Nimish Shah and his team has been granted a PATENT for their groundbreaking work: “A METHOD AND COMPOSITION OF COPOLYMER AS SUPERDISINTEGRANT FOR ORAL ADMINISTRATION OF DRUGS.”
The team has developed a unique copolymer composition using natural polymers like Chitosan and Starch. This breakthrough offers a dual benefit for oral drug delivery. It relates to a method and composition of copolymer as superdisintegrant for oral administration of drugs.
✅ The Invention relates to a method and composition of copolymer for oral administration of drugs that controls the release of the drug and provides faster disintegration of tablet.
✅ It provides a method and composition of the copolymer, which functions as a super disintegrant for oral administration of drugs. The natural polymers used in said composition are chitosan and starch. Said chitosan possesses biodegradable properties and controls drug release. ”
