If I were to describe Nirma University in one word, I would call it a launchpad. The Chemical Engineering Department at Nirma University is the place where my professional journey first started, and although my career path has taken several twists and turns since then, I attribute a significant part of my professional achievements to the values and behaviours that I imbibed during my 4 years at the university. Every student that walks through the gates of this prestigious institution is afforded a robust academic curriculum taught by some of the finest professors along with a wide array of extracurricular activities and a highly competent peer group. The exposure and opportunities that I received during my time at Nirma in the form of intra- and inter- college interactions/events not only groomed me for my first job but also my post graduate admission process some years later. In the decade since I graduated, I have seen the university grow from strength to strength, and as an alum I can proudly assert that studying at Nirma is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and would urge students to recognize the opportunity that they have been offered and make the most of it during their time here!
