Nirma played a crucial role in shaping my life, during my undergraduate tenure in the Chemical Engineering Department. Not only does it prepare one in academia, but it also aspires to develop responsible citizens to have an impact on society! The curriculum is a perfect blend of academia and extracurricular activities, which enables individuals to gain knowledge, leadership skills, and management traits!
The classes are intense, with the intent of delivering quality education; giving a base to students which is helpful be it for higher education or industry! Extracurriculars have significantly played a crucial role for me. Establishing the IIChE student chapter and organizing first-of-its-kind ChemFusion 1.0 are among my best memories during my life at Nirma!
Motivation and support from faculties enabled me to pursue research and present at several national and international conferences. I proudly represented my work and department at 3 conferences, and bagged the best paper/presentation award at all 3 of them! Many faculties are much more than advisors or teachers to me; as they have always helped and guided me in different situations and become a better person.
To put it in a nutshell, life at Nirma was exciting, lively, and full of hills and valleys of challenges and that is what prepares one for the journey of life!
