My journey at Nirma as a Chemical Engineer has been one of the most beautiful one in my life. Not only it has prepared me in academics, it also gave me a great exposure in extracurricular activities like organizing events – ChemFusion 3.0 under ChESA and IIChE, poster presentations, Vaudaville, Praveg which has helped me in developing various skills like leadership, time management, working in team, etc.
Throughout this journey, my professors, the alumni community, and my fellow classmates have all played a significant role in my entire development and supported me, and I still turn to them when I have difficulties in my professional life.
The placement season at Nirma has also a good one as it gives exposure to various companies like Galaxy Surfactants, Reliance, Adani which is a dream of many. My placement at Galaxy Surfactants limited has been one of the best opportunities that is presented to me as it gave me an opportunity to work in the department that I want to move forward in my career that is in New Projects and Technology.
To sum it all, this journey at Nirma has been one of the best one and one of the most important one in shaping my career and guiding me to choose the right path and making me realize which field would be the best suited for me.
